Amy Maria Mulholland Karle, 84, of East Quogue New York passed away on July 31, 2020.

The funeral service will be held on Monday August 3, 2020 at the Church of Saint Rosalie in Hampton Bays New, York. Father Maddaloni will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held Sunday August 2, 2020. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the R.J. O'Shea Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. If you cannot attend in person because of the Covid-19 pandemic, please remember her in your prayers.

Amy was born in Manhattan, New York on April 6, 1936 and grew up in Jamaica Estates, New York as the fourth of five children. She graduated from The Mary Lewis Academy and continued on to receive her Bachelor's degree from Marymount Manhattan College and her Master's degree from Hunter College.  Amy was married to Walter Karle on July 4, 1964; they were married for 56 years.

Amy is survived by her husband Walter, her four boys, Peter, James, Walter and John, eleven grandchildren, Evie, Amelia, Christian, Lydia, James, Joseph, Alex, Andrew, Meredith, Christopher and Brian, her two sisters, Ellin and Mary of Hampton Bays,  and many other family and friends. Amy is preceded in death by her father James Mulholland, her mother Natalie McCarthy Mulholland, her sister Faith Mulholland Leddy and her brother James Mulholland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Church of Saint Rosalie at 31 East Montauk Highway Hampton Bays, NY  11946. The family of Amy Maria Mulholland Karle wishes to especially thank the Church of Saint Rosalie for their emotional and prayerful support.
