Daniel P. Aubé, 73, of Riverhead formally of Hampton Bays passed away peacefully on May 31, 2020 at the East End Hospice Center in Quiogue. Daniel worked as a Hampton Bays Police Officer until the department was dissolved. He was a business owner of Edward's Foods Inc. and ended his career with the Suffolk County Police Department 3rd Precinct.  He was actively involved in the American Legion Hand Aldrich Post 924 as a former commander; volunteer with the Hampton Bays Ambulance; vestry member at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, and with Hampton Bays Little League/ Youth Basketball and Boy Scouts. He was predeceased by his parents William and Virginia Aubé.   Daniel is survived by wife Linda Aubé (nee Schug), children Daniel (Lori), Christopher, Patrick (Allaire), Corinne and Sean, and eight grandchildren.    The funeral arrangements were conducted by R. J. O'Shea Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. The family has requested that donations can be sent to the Hampton Bays Little League PO Box 1011, Hampton Bays New York 11946.

A burial in Calverton National Cemetery took place on Thursday, June 4th at 11:30am.

Military Honors were rendered at the funeral home prior to forming a procession to Calverton National Cemetery.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic there will be no services at Calverton National Cemetery.
