Wesnofske - Gertrude (aka Sis) age 96 of Hampton Bays passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020.  She was a devoted wife of 70 years to husband Bernard (deceased).  She was a loving mother and is survived by her daughter Lauren Parisen, her husband Richard, their daughter Kirsten, her son Michael Wesnofske, his wife Alison and children Laura and Joseph and son Jeffrey Wesnofske and wife Lois.  Former Administrative Assistant at American Telephone and Telegraph Company in NYC, former employee of the Nassau County Board of Elections.  She also held numerous part-time jobs while raising 3 children.  Active PTA member in the Hicksville Public Schools, and 50-year member of Mercy League philanthropic organization supporting Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre, New York.  A graduate of Jamaica High School, Queens, NY.  Avid golfer, bowler and beach goer. Longtime resident of Hicksville, NY before retiring in Hampton Bays.  Parishioner at St. Rosalie's Roman Catholic Church in Hampton Bays.

Reposing Tuesday July 14th from 4pm - 8pm at the R. J. O'Shea Funeral Home, Inc. 94 East Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays.  Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, July 15th at 10:30am at St. Rosalie's Church followed by a burial in Good Ground Cemetery
