Jerome Steven Keenan

November 26, 1938 - February 11, 2021

Jerome "Jerry" Steven Keenan, 82, of Hampton Bays, Long Island, passed away on February 11, 2021, at his home. He was born on November 26, 1938 to the late Margaret and John Keenan in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Bayside High School, graduating class of 1952. Jerry established and ran his own financial planning firm and was a proud 25-year veteran of the 42nd Infantry Division of the United States Army National Guard.

Jerry, no stranger to the finer things in life, loved hosting parties, traveling, and spending time with his family in his own slice of heaven on Earth in Hampton Bays.

Jerry is survived by his four children, Patricia Sharp (John), Kathleen Yoo (Ed), and Maura Slavens (Johnnie), Tara Keenan-Thomson (Brian); his nine grandchildren, Jennifer (Jared), JP (Kelly), Jillian, Jackson, Jessica, Julia, Jordan, Emma Rose, and Kathleen; and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria; his brother, Jack, and his nephew, John.

Viewing services will be held from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm Thursday, February 18th, at R. J. O'Shea Funeral Home, 94 East Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays. Funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Friday February 19th, at the Church of St. Rosalie, 31 East Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays. Burial services immediately following at Calverton National Cemetery in Wading River.
