JoAnne Donelan of Hampton Bays passed away on August 27 in Westhampton after 17 years with Alzheimer's disease, at the age of 68. JoAnne was surrounded by her beloved children, Jana, Michael, Michele and Melissa.

In addition to her children, JoAnne is survived by her four grandchildren, Ryan, Aidan, Sophia and Cristian, her mother, Josephine Shehan of Salina Kansas, four sisters, and nieces and nephews. JoAnne is predeceased by her father, Joseph A. Shehan SGM US Army, a brother, and her loving companion, Thomas Warner of Hampton Bays.

A self proclaimed military brat, JoAnne was a proud military buff and supporter. She enjoyed reading, history, travel and antiquing. JoAnne was also a longtime parishioner at St. Rosalie's R.C Church in Hampton Bays.

After a private funeral under the direction of the R. J. O'Shea Funeral Home, Inc. in Hampton Bays, JoAnne was buried in Good Ground Cemetery in Hampton Bays.
