Leo, Kathleen (nee Kennedy) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family in love on April 15,2022 at the age of 77 at her home in Southampton, New York. Born in Brooklyn, NY to James and Nora Kennedy where she lived with her five brothers and sisters in a big, beautiful Irish family. She met her loving husband in Brooklyn at the age of 19 and soon began her new family whom they raised on Long Island in Fort Salonga, NY.

Her life will be cherished by her husband Charles Leo and their children Anthony (Tracy), Charles (Kerry), Jennifer (Damian), Joseph (Alejandra), and Tina (James). The beautiful legacy of her life will continue with her 14 grandchildren whom she loved so dearly. She is preceded by her brothers Phillip and James, sisters Anne and Mary, nephew Michael and survived by her sister Noreen, her two sisters-in -law, Joan and Maryann Kennedy, her sister- and brother- in law Frances and Paul Guglielmetti and her 25 nieces and nephews.

Kathleen believed in family, loyalty and God above all else. After she and her husband founded and established Leo's Electric Corporation in 1976, she worked for Southampton District Attorney's office and Burke and Sullivan while at the same time raising her children and grandchildren. Kathleen was a strong, beautiful and loving woman who will be deeply missed by all who came to know her.

Visitation will be on Tuesday April 19th from 2pm to 7pm at R.J. O'Shea Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. Service will be held on Wednesday April 20 at 10am at The Basilica Parish of Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Southampton.
