Louise (Memola) Pozzolano was born on May 13th 1942 in the Bronx, the youngest of 13 children. At the age of 13, she moved to Flanders and attended Riverhead High School, graduating in 1960. Louise met her husband, Joe Pozzolano at the age of 16. Joe and Louise married in February of 1963. The Pozzolanos moved to East Quogue in 1974 where they resided for almost 45 years. Louise began working at the Riverhead Central School District in 1973, and then moved to Hampton Express, a bus company located in Hampton Bays. Louise returned to Riverhead School District to finish out her career. She was an active member of St. Rosalie's Church, teaching religion for over 25 years. Louise was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. She was always the first person to lend a hand and expect nothing in return. Louise passed away peacefully on November 9th, at the age of 76. She is survived by her son Joseph (Donna), daughter Gina (Adam), and granddaughters Sarah and Erin. Visiting will be on Sunday, Nov 11th from 7-9pm and Monday from 2-4pm & 7-9pm.

A funeral mass is scheduled for Tuesday at 10:30am from St. Rosalie's Church in Hampton Bays.
A burial in St. Isidore Cemetery will follow the mass.
