Obituary

Margaret (Peg) Campbell, 84, of Hampton Bays, NY, died July 26, 2021.

Margaret has been described as a force to be reckoned with, an amazing woman with an amazing life, the "BEST", a gift, kind and gracious. She was all of these things in addition to being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Curtin, and her brother, Ted Curtin. She is survived by her husband and devoted partner of 60 years, Ronald. Margaret is the beloved mother to Tom and his wife Ellen, Mary and her husband John, James and his husband Scott, Elaine and her husband Michael. She is the adored grandmother of Meagan, Dan, Nicole and her husband Mike, Kelly, Michael, Thomas, Zachary and Alex, great grandmother to Juliette and Reagan, best friend and sister to Mary Egan and finally beloved Aunt Peg to so many nieces and nephews.

Peg will be missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Hampton Bays Beautification Association at https://www.hbba.net/memorial-trees/ , to which Peg devoted her time, energy and spirit across her many years in Hampton Bays. Peg was also an enthusiastic member of the Hampton Bays Irish American Association, awarded person of the year in 2008, and her long time, local book club.

Visiting will be on Thursday, July 29th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.  A Mass of Resurrection from St. Rosalie's Church will be on Friday at 10:30am.  A cremation will follow the mass.
