A longtime parishioner of Holy Innocents R.C. Church, Jane served the Church over the years as a lector and member of the parish council.
After retiring to Hampton Bays in 1994, Jane (usually with Vincent by her side) became a tireless volunteer in their new community as well as their new parish of St. Rosalie's. At the time of her passing, Jane was an active member of the Board of Trustees of Our Lady of the Hamptons Regional Catholic School and the was the treasurer of her neighborhood association until September 2023.
Jane was a ferocious reader, particularly of romance novels. When she wasn't reading, Jane was especially fond of watching the Weather Channel. In addition to her late husband and parents, Jane was predeceased by her brother, William, and numerous in-laws.
