Peter Paul Matyas  of Hampton Bays passed away at the Kanas Center on July 22, 2019  at the age of 92 years. Centereach where he attended Smithtown High School. He was a proud WWII veteran of the Merchant Marines. He worked for Fairchild Hiller in Farmingdale for 39 years, he was a leadman there. He was married to his loving wife Florence for 72 years.  He also leaves behind his 3 children Lillian (Robert) of Hampton Bays, Linda (Ken) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Peter (Stacey) of Warren, RI. also 2 grandsons Peter IV and Ryan.

Visiting will be Thursday morning from 9am to 11am.

A burial  with honors in Calverton National Cemetery will follow the visiting.

In lieu of flowers the family would ask that donations to East End Hospice be made in Peter's name.
