Ronald Henry Ryan Sr. of Hampton Bays passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 19th,2022. He was born on June 30th,1946 in East Meadow, NY, to parents James and Mary Ryan. Ronald graduated from Bayshore High School and then served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. After his military service he attended night school and earned a business degree.

He was founder of Hampton Stair and Millwork as well as R.H. Ryan Construction. He was a craftsman for over 30 years. He was a member of Hand Aldrich American Legion Post 924 as adjutant and Hampton Bays Knights of Columbus as a 4th degree Grand Knight. Ron was proud of serving his community.

Ron's passions were piano, guitar, fishing and travel. He was also an accomplished artist and golfer who played to a 7 handicap. He loved to sing and was a member of the adult choirs of St. Rosalie's Church in Hampton Bays and St. John the Evangelist in Naples, Florida. As a young man, he had a band and never went a day without music.  He loved to travel and play golf spending winters in Naples, Fl. He often expressed his dream to relocate to places like Savannah, Ga and Edistow Island.

He is survived by his wife Pamela and son Ronald Jr., daughters-in-law, Francia and grandson, Zachary. He is also survived by stepson Michael, his wife Holly and grandchildren, Vivian and Nathan. His gentle personality and great sense of humor will be deeply missed.
