Saundra Schleicher a longtime resident of Hampton Bays, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 6, surrounded by the love of her family. 

She was an amazing wife, mother, and an incredible businesswoman who balanced her professional achievements with an unwavering commitment to those she loved. Saundra lived a truly selfless life, always putting others first and joyfully devoting her time, energy, and wisdom to her family and grandchildren.

Saundra is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Edward; her four devoted sons, James, Brian, Scott, and Leonard; and her loving daughters-in-law, Cheryl, Theresa, and Christa. She is also survived by her dear brother Richard Blowes and sister, Petty (Abigail) Merrill. She was the cherished grandmother of Aaron, Mackenzie, Victoria, Elise, Jessica, Jack, and Hollie, and the proud great-grandmother of Josephina, Camilla, and Madison.

Her legacy of hard work, selflessness, and fierce devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
